Culture is the Soul of An Enterprise, Conscience is the Foundation of A Person

                            ---- Reflection on the survival of TVCMALL under the Epidemic

As the epidemic continues to ferment, international trade relations are deteriorating day by day, and more and more enterprises are becoming difficult to survive and carry on. In such a critical situation, Zhenzhi Technology (also known as TVCMALL) can not survive just by itself, and the difficulty of survival is increasing: for the small loss business, the loss expanded; for the small profit business, it turned into a loss; for the profitable business, the total profit also greatly reduced. In addition, there are too many uncertainties in the future: the trend of the epidemic, changes in the international situation, and changes in the mentality of employees... All of them have brought a lot of challenges to the operation of enterprises of today and tomorrow. The slogans chanted by many large enterprises and the actions of massive layoffs have also verified the "difficult times".

 

In such a critical situation, many enterprises have begun to feel uncomfortable, and many employees as well. The reason for this uncomfortable feeling is actually quite simple: the past days were too good, and "now the days have changed". In the past, as an enterprise, as long as you could achieve 60 points, you would have basic food to live. If you could achieve 70 to 100 points, you could get matching corporate profits. The same goes for employees, and a large number of employees can "lay flat" and "mess around", because life is generally easier, and the management team of enterprises and enterprises themselves can "turn a blind eye" to this group of people. Some enterprises do not have the energy and effort to manage them, some enterprises are "powerless" due to lack of ability, and some want to show their "tolerance", "compassion" and "love". Some employees with good family background can also enjoy the benefits brought to them by their parents and family: directly enjoy the "baby bottle" --- «if there is wine in the present, let’s be drunk today, and tomorrow's business will be discussed tomorrow!»

 

Now that "the days have changed", enterprises can no longer "turn a blind eye" to those who are "laying flat" and "messing around". At the same time, enterprises have to face a reality that they do not want to accept: they must pay the bill for the enterprises’ past "turning a blind eye", "insufficient energy investment" and "insufficient ability", and for the excessive "tolerance", "compassion" and "love" in the past. For the owner of the business, it is a "heart hurdle" that is difficult to overcome - and to pay for the "tolerance", "compassion" and "love" of the past, especially in such a difficult situation for the business. . Although this does not meet the psychological needs of business owners, it is indeed correct, because excessive "tolerance", "compassion" and "love" are "evil", and you have to "pay your debt" for this. And the management team of the enterprise is also tested in this process: how to find the correct values that they should uphold in this contradiction? How to ensure that you will not be "killed" or leave disaster due to improper handling in this process? How to find a balance between the organization and the unsuitable corporate crowd, and become a bridge for conflict mediation and handling? For better managers, they also need to consider how to awaken their "conscience", how to organize and upgrade, and how to achieve self-transformation and growth in the process.

 

Will the "laying flat" and "messing around" employees be any better? Absolutely not! Because "all laws are empty, cause and effect are not empty", "the debts owed must be repaid after all", "the Way of Heaven does not choose the time, place, and person". Enterprises need to use short-term profit losses to repay debts, but more seriously, use the bankruptcy of enterprises to pay off debts. Individuals need to use a period of forced "laying flat", "messing around" and "conscience condemnation" to repay their debts, and in more serious cases, they need a lifetime of "laying flat", "messing around" and "conscience condemnation" to repay their debts. The rules of the Way of Heaven have never changed: the good is getting better and the bad is getting worse. The only value of rotten enterprises and rotten individuals to the Way of Heaven is to "educate latecomers not to follow this road, which is led to the dark". If enterprises and individuals are lucky enough to realize that they "want" to cut off the rotten roots of their own bodies and find their innate "conscience", they may still be blessed by God, and they will arrange to pull a hand. As for whether an individual can be "pulled up", it depends on the individual's fortune and blessings. For an individual, it is too difficult to "resolve past wrongs" (it is easy to break the mountain, but difficult to break the heart); in addition, even if you can "repair past wrongs", it depends on whether you still have enough "Blessings" allows society to accept you, and to what extent it can accept you. If you haven't "accumulated virtue" in the past, where will the blessings come for you to consume?

 

A person has always been based on "energy", and a person who has been "laying flat" and "messing around" for a long time is essentially cutting off many "positive energy" links with the world and others. Without the blessing of "positive energy", one can only be in a state of "negative energy" with a high probability, and finally sink deeper and deeper, unable to extricate oneself. Sowing melons reaps melons, and sowing beans reaps beans. Such an outcome cannot be blamed on others. The Buddha's saying that "all beings are ignorant" is justified, because it is true that many people only experience the consequences of evil before they truly develop their inner "respect" and begin to truly like what Confucius said, "A gentleman has three fears: fear of the destiny, Fear the great man and the words of the sage"(a gentleman should have three respects: reverence for the will of God which is the laws of nature, reverence for the nobles, and reverence for the remarks of the sages). Only then will you truly awaken your innate "conscience", will gradually have the "wisdom of life" you should have, and then embark on the correct life trajectory. As Mr. Wang Yangming said, "Thousands of saints have passed away, and conscience is my teacher." It can be seen that "conscience" is the real teacher of our life.

 

In fact, TVCMALL should be grateful for such a harsh environment, because it is indeed only in the "bad" environment that many real problems of the enterprise will not be covered up, and will be really discovered and paid enough attention. Only enterprises can "resolve the pain and think about change when they are poor" and move towards the correct culture trilogy: discovering the wrong culture, correcting the wrong culture, and establishing the right culture. This "soul" of corporate culture will not continue to be lost, so that the "soul" of corporate culture will be continuously purified, thereby helping the current and future development of the enterprise. Similarly, the employees of TVCMALL should also be grateful for the experience in such a harsh environment, because "people have to go through a different catastrophe before they can be reborn and become people who can really solve problems". Only by being tempered by extreme environments can individuals discover the deep-seated problems in their worldview, outlook on life, and values, and then deeply awaken their inner "conscience" and "wisdom", and then have the opportunity to move towards the three steps of upgrading and iterating on individual values: ind wrong values, correct wrong values, establish correct values. Those who plant trees will nurture their roots, and those who plant virtue will nurture their hearts. A narrow heart is the root of misfortune, and an open heart is the door to happiness. People must experience things and stand upright, so that they can be "steady in stillness and still in motion".

 

In short, culture is the soul of an enterprise, and conscience is the root of a person. For individuals, only by "training the soul and awakening the conscience" can we finally "know the good and know the bad". The superior soul should be sensitive to distinguish between good and evil, Noble souls tend to promote the good, eliminate the ugly, and strive to change the world. For the enterprises, only if they can stand the test can they be stable for a long time, and finally achieve the ideal state of "stillness is stillness, movement is also stillness".
